Quiet Camping is built on one core idea: **protection over exposure**. Unlike public geotagging apps that flood hidden spots with crowds, we use a trust-based, gated system. Every member contributes to keeping places special — by sharing responsibly, reviewing accurately, and earning access through contribution.
We are a curated network of dispersed, backcountry, and crown land campers who value preservation. This is not a mass-market camping app.
How You Participate
1. **Join the waitlist** or receive an invite from an existing member.
2. **Browse sites** on the list or map — each comes with details on access, quietness, privacy, and amenities.
3. **Submit your own sites** to grow the network and earn credits.
4. **Review sites** you've visited — share condition updates to help the community.
5. **Earn badges & levels** as you contribute — then spend credits to unlock detailed site information.
What Makes Us Different
- **No public geotagging** — site coordinates and detailed access info are gated behind credits and trust.
