Your Privacy
Quiet Camping takes privacy seriously:
- **Email addresses** are never shared publicly
- **Only your first name** is shown beside reviews — your full display name stays private
- **Site coordinates** are credit-gated and never shown on the public list
- **Your submissions** are tied to your account but your identity is not public
- **Analytics** are privacy-respecting (no Google Analytics, no tracking networks)
Responsible Sharing
When submitting a site or writing a review, remember:
- Don't include exact coordinates, road names, or trailhead locations in public fields
- Describe access difficulty without revealing specific routes
- Be mindful that condition updates are visible to all logged-in members
- If a site is already under pressure (trash, damage, overcrowding), flag it to admins rather than sharing it
**Sharing stays member-only.** If you share sites from your private library, recipients must be Quiet Camping members — there is no anonymous access, and every share is read-only and revocable. Include your referral link when you share by email so your friends can join through you.
